Indigo Onion's Privacy Policy
With the new privacy settings available in browsers such as Internet Explorer 6, it's become necessary to make Indigo Onion "P3P Compliant". This involves providing a policy on how Indigo Onion handles any information you provide to it.
The Policy
Indigo Onion does not, at present, gather any information for marketing purposes. It is not a commercial company so has no need to. None of the information that might be kept about users will be provided to third parties. All information gathered is simply to make the site easier to use and provide features that I believe users will like.
Some personal information about users is stored. This may include online location information such as an e-mail address or homepage. At present, physical location information (your home address, for example) is not stored . This information is always given voluntarily. Some information is required for some features of the Indigo Onion website to work.
Any information provided is stored in secure databases on Indigo Onion's hosting servers (based in America). Occasionally, some pages may store information in cookies on users' computers. This will generally be an optional process.
